New Shoes!!

EDIT!! More images added!!

I got some new shoes !!

18x9.5 Rota Grid's (Gun Metalic) With Mcgard Spline Drive Lugs (Black)

Now please take note that I did order the Work Emotion CR Kai's From Brian @ City Tire. I placed the order and put down a deposit, I went down to pick up the wheels and Brian called me when I was about 20 minutes away from the store. He tells me they went to pull the wheels from the warehouse and they only found 3 of the 4 wheels. I was like "how is that possible?" he said the inventory was off in the computer....Very dissapointing. So I cancelled my order with them because they wont get their next shipment from japan for another month.

CR Kai's I would have had for only $550 more - Not happy with City tire at all

Here is how my car turned out with the Rota's. A downgrade, but I think it turned out nice...

Please let me know your opinons

Let me know what you think, thanks for listening to my vent...lol

more images just added!! 5/27/2009

Corvett's - no problem

In defense to City Tire this type of thing happens when you have a large wheel warehouse. The same sort of thing happened to me with a Tire Rack order. Any time their computer says they only have four left it's a good idea to get a visual check done.

Not a big deal on City Tires part. I'm sure they would have taken care of you if you had to wait another month.

Drives: jdm civic 07, mazda astina 96, toyota prado 97, nissan grand livina 09...soon to be evo

if it were me
i would ask for a discount from them
would have waited for the work emotion
just for 550 more or maybe less
you can get them
they have a better resale value compare to the rota as well...

The Rotas honestly look better too, unless you were getting some super-concave CR Kais. They usually look like garbage on Evos (non concave face).

I think you should've had more patience. The Works are better for sure, but the Rotas don't look bad.

Rota's look pretty good. What size tires you running on the 9.5's. 245s? They look a bit stretched.

Like a few others have said, the Rota's look pretty good, but just my personal opinion, I would have waited for the Work Emotions.

I would have waited but I was on a tough time table, can in the body shop with no wheels to put on. i messed up one stock wheel beyond repair and i opted for a new set.

the regret is setting in.

yes they are a bit stretched on the 245's

ill be getting to falken's soon.

I dont think they look to bad though... i mean its not like they look awful and it was a horrible mistake.

You're right, they don't look awful, but depending on price and how tight $$$ was, I would definitely get the work wheels if it were possible.
