*** Official Plasti Dip/Flat/Matte Evo Xs Thread *** [MERGED]
I want to start a thread dedicated to Evos that are plastidipped. I know people have their opinions about plastidip but I want to start a thread to show off Evo owners creativity and to gather collective data on Plastidip applied on real live cars. Thus showing plastidip durability, installation tips and results from fellow evo owners.
I'll start by showing my personal Evo x which is Completely plastidipped.
The body has been dipped matte white for the past 2+ months and I have recently changed the color of my wheels, trying out different colors and effects from different plastidip products.
here is my evo prepped for dipping
In process
took some better pics in my Nex-5
Then I dipped the front lip
Then I dipped My Raijins a metallic Blue

LMAO for sure seems too good to be true, i've been really thinking about this, as the dipyourcar.com company is only a few miles from me, will be checking it out tomorrow and checking about custom colors.

The dip covered all the rock chips I had and has protected that part of the rear doors perfectly.

its actually easier since you dont have to worry about water spots.
the finish isnt very rubery, just different than the paint. im not sure how to explain it. the dirst just washes off, i had not problems removing dirt from any part of the car.
