looks ok, not feeling the huge gap on the left and seems like the left sits a bit high, maybe with paint the imperfections will be a little less noticeable

Trunk looks good and it's your car you buy and put whatever you want, unless those who judge want to start making your car and insurance payment .

Agree'd, definitely looks good. I can't afford the do-luck trunk, so I will stick with stock. The thread starter looks ok.... maybe will look much better with a little adjustment and clearing out the lense on the tail lights.
However Mendo, I agree to an extent of what you're saying, but this is coming from a guy that has a GSXR600 with a "2 brothers slip-on" and advertising it in his signature?
C'mon, that's not even half a step up from D&D. You probably lost mid/low end tq and gained nothing up top. Dealers are selling them dirt cheap everywhere since they cost next to nothing, and make a killing still on profit.

Ok fellas. First, thanks to everyone for the comments. One sid does sit higher than the other but not much. That will get fixed over the winter when my car is down. Its def. not going to get painted and thats set in stone.
Second, I know how some people feel about "knockoffs". I dont give a rats ass about JDM. If you want JDM go to Japan. I was going to buy the Do-Luck cause it is beautiful. But when this one came out and I got a "killer" price I couldnt say no. This piece is perfect. Granted I had to make 2 hole for the tails to fit. That wasnt a big deal to me. Most parts that you buy usually need some sort of modification. For those of you who can spend the 1300+ on the Do-luck then go ahead. But do not ruin my thread by talking **** about this product. If you dont like it, move on. This thread wasnt started for a debate on JDM and knockoffs. So for those of you who think its because of people like me, (Mendo) that the JDM companies fall off........kiss my ass. Anyhow.....thanks for all the replies

Also its not only JDM companies that gets hurt by the knockoff business, everyone does, even the guy buying it.
Just don't call it a Do-Luck trunk, because its not.
(I will apologize for flaming on your thread, not the best place to have this discussion)
