Aero package

Just wondering if anyone can send me a pic of the Rubber mold that is at the edge of the aero parts. I never notice them in pics but can someone confirm they are supposed to be there?

Also, are the side skirts known to start sagging near the rear passenger doors and are they easily fixed? I'm talkin about 08 lineup in general.

dont get the aero kit! so many problems with it. side skirts sag, rubber seals start tearing, front rubber lip falls off. such a PITA. PLUS the non aero looks cleaner in my opinion

I think the AERO package looks bangable on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.

^+1 for having the aerokit! Mine passenger side rear skirt has had a slight sag since I purchased it. The gap has not increased in size.

Yes, it's a known issue. There's a kit that you can buy to fix the sagging, or you can take it to the dealer and they should fix it under warranty.

I've got over 10K on mine too, absolutely no problems. I don't know what people are doing to their cars to warrant so many complaints. Maybe not paying attention and running in to curbs or something? Or stepping on the skirts when they get out of the car? Maybe the kits were just installed at dealers who suck?

knock on wood, mine doesnt have any problems at all, no sagging or anything.
Just replaced my front rubber lip since I scrape it because I was dropped with coilovers.

IMO aero kit makes a huge difference, makes the car more aggressive.

Drives: Traded 09 GTS for a RR 08 GSR w/ SSS & Aero

with stock ride height aero kit makes the car look lowered, if you plan on dropping an inch or more though, it would look real agressive but would probably get you into trouble if its a DD so no aero kit would be better in that situation

i like my aero kit, its not perfect but with the deal I got on the car, i practically didnt have to pay for it

The Aero kit definitely adds a more "sporty" touch to our X's. Also enhances the lowered look...
