Tanabe USA :: Exhaust Tip Style?
Hello All,
Quick question... exhaust tip style: Stainless or Inconel Blue?
We're trying to gauge some opinions for the design of a new Medalion Touring Exhaust for the Evo X.
Here's an example of the inconel blue tip on our GTR exhaust:
And here's an example of the stainless tip that's standard on our current Concept G and Medalion Touring exhausts:
Feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

The exhaust is still in development, but likely to be in the 80mm range. Quietness is one prime aspect of our Medalion Touring line. Cost is also yet to be determined, though a blue-tipped exhaust will be slightly more expensive compared to one with stainless tips.

Inconel for sure! And when is the Concept G Blue going to be released? Is it going to have dual mufflers and full 3'' piping?

I have - and many others - have been looking for exhaust options that are high quality, sound good & have chrome tips.
Right now there are a lot of options with blue tips - Greddy, Invidia, HKS etc.
From a marketing standpoint I would position this exhaust where there is less competition. Maybe I will buy one too. I like your springs!
When will you have a front strut tower brace?

I guess I'm in the minority but IMO the blue is pretty played out. Stainless for me.
