Dave the orange wheels
But,
if I would have to chose I would go with the 1500mm it looks much cleaner.

Here's a few more shots of the 1700...it fits the width of the car perfectly. But ya, it's big.

Unless you mount something in addition to the Voltex front lip (Kind of like Ryan's setup), I'd get the 1500. With the 1700 you'll get a lot of understeer...
Edit:
Race report on the Gates311 Evo X:

without the front splitter on the car, it was prone to understeer with the large Voltex wing.
|
I had the same problem with my S2000 post-Voltex. The wing generated so much rear downforce that the car would push a lot through the higher-speed corners. Although, once I added my front splitter, the car was on rails!

The 1700mm is fairly large in appearance, but it actually flows fairly well. From certain angles it looks huge but it really is the perfect size for the super-wide chassis of the Evo 10.
As you can see, it lines up perfectly with the overall width of the rear quarter panels.

Go with the 1500. Or even smaller, if you can. The X is a tiny car, and it won't look very good if it's installed with a spoiler that's about half its size.

wow that 1700 is like huge on the blue evo its out there to be honest the 1500 looks more reasonable to me dave. but again its your car do what you want. you could always try putting a covette wing on the evo (inside joke)

I`d go with the 1700mm, flows better with the wide stance of Evo X imo.
