Why go single scroll and pay for all that JDM cost? Full race makes a really nice twin scroll manifold, and there are tons of turbos that will work with it.
Just curious why HKS uses a single scroll design.

They use an adapter plate, it isn't really a single scroll kit, its somewhere inbetween a single and twin scroll setup.
They use a single scroll (turbine housing) because if they didn't getting somebody to manufacture an evo twin scroll flanged housing would be very expensive.
