Update: Do-Luck is finishing up the production of the trunk and are hoping to have it on display at Tokyo Auto Salon. If it is on display I will be sure to snag some pictures for all of you.

These items are made to order so you can order one anytime. Right now this trunk is still in the developing stages believe it or not. We have already reserved one for a customer. The customer is patiently waiting for the arrival of the trunk at this point in time. If you are looking to purchase this product please call office at your earliest convenience and we can discuss assisting you in reserving one.

If you want to get a good idea as to what it will look like from the side, research the 2003 M3 CSL. It is a limited edition E46 by BMW.
This car's design was the inspiration for a lot aftermarket companies. Everything from carbon fiber intake manifold, carbon roof, and the duckbill style trunk all contributed to the overall evolution of the automotive industry. You will see the resemblance of the Do-Luck duckbill trunk and the CSL's.
In my opinion the CSL doesn't get the credit it deserves.

to my knowledge, they are only producing a CFRP version for right now. Knowing Do-Luck I would like to say that an FRP will soon follow, but nothing is guaranteed.

I'd like a paintable version as well - or is it possible to paint on the CF in white and leave the end of the bill as CF with clear over that?

It is possible to paint over carbon fiber. In Japan it is actually considered tacky by most tuners to leave carbon fiber unpainted. I myself believe that all depends on how the rest of the car is designed that determines whether or not unpainted carbon fiber looks good or not.
