Archiebabes EVO X Project

CAR UPDATES WILL BE POSTED ON THE BOTTOM

1. Volk Rays TE37 18X9.5 22 Offset Wrapped on Toyo Tires 275/35/18

2. AGP Intercooler

3. Turbo Trix Upper, Lower and Intake Pipings With HKS Super Megaflow Filter

4. Forge BOV

5. BC Racing Coil Overs

6. Ralliart Parts For The X

7. 5 Zigen EVO X Dual Exhaust.

Reviews

1. Almost sounds like the stock exhaust, very quiet and Cop friendly. You can be beside the Cop and he'll think your running the stock setup.

2. Looks - The tips are a little bigger than the stock unit. Again Cop friendly on the eyes. Not like those angled big canister exhaust.

3. Gains - The gains can be felt throughout the powerband. This exhaust will power up your midrange like its on NOS. LOL

All in all not to shaby, I give it 10/10 Exhaust Stars LOL

8. Ultimate Racing Test Pipe With Mini Muffler

9. Ultimate Racing Downpipe

10. AEM Alcohol/Water Injection Kit

Time to get it installed and tuned and make 400whp on pump 91 gas.

Should be able to boost safetly to 28psi on pump gas.

11. Rexpeed HKS Style Carbon Fiber Side Spats JDM 1X1 Weave

Perfect Fitment no gaps.

12. Defi BF Boost Gauge

I finaly found a good place to mount my Defi BF Boost Gauge.

13. AEM Water Injection Installed

I just finished installing my AEM Water/Alcohol Injection kit for the X.

Turned up the boost to 29psi or 2Bar, the ECU is not pulling any timing, nor its throwing a CEL or initiating a Fuel Cut.

Without the water injection, it will initiate a fuel cut if you raise the boost above 23 psi on 91 Octane. Feels like you hit a wall with the fuel cut.

With the water injection, currenlty using 100% water without any alcohol mix. I was able to boost 29psi.

That is how far I go, until I get the car tuned on ECUTEK soon.

But you can definitely feel the hp gains and massive torque when it hits 29psi, if feels like my Old VIII with 370wtq when the boosts hits 29psi for a moment and settles down to 20psi by redline.

I will be doing some experimenting soon with different mix like 50% water and 50% meth.

14. Defi BF Control Unit and AEM Water Injection Controller

15. OEM Mitsubishi Skid Plate with Lancer Evolution LED

16. Ralliart Dual Exhaust Heat Shield

Fitment is like OEM.

Top Notch Quality From Ralliart.

17. Archiebabes EVO X Mapped By Tuning Technologies

Results

Max Power = 358.72
Max Torque = 366.86

Current Stage 1 Mods

1. Turbo Trix Upper and Lower Intercooler Piping
2. Forge BOV
3. AGP Intercooler
4. Turbo Trix Intake with HKS SMF Filter
5. UR Downpipe
6. UR Testpipe
7. 5 Zigen Catback Dual Exhaust
8. AEM Water/Alcohol Injection

Boost is set at 25 to 26 PSI via 100% Methanol Injection

Just a quick comparison of what 100% Methanol can accomplish.

Below is the same Stage 1 EVO X with practicaly the same mods as mine except for the Alcohol Injection.

It made 312.86 Max HP and 335.10 Max Torque

With 100% Methanol in the Mix it made 45.86 more HP and 31.76 more torque.

I would like to thank Eric of Driveline Motoring for getting me this LIP.

The front end looks more menacing now.

On with the Pics.

Bride Stradia Low Max Seats installed{thumbup**

I would like to thank DirectorSe7en for hooking me up with the seats.

Thanks man{thumbup**

New Pic {thumbup**

New addition to the SSS Wing.

Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Gurney Flap.

Perfect Fitment and excellent carbon weaves and finish.

Thanks Derek

New pics of the CF gurney flap as requested by Derek.

Here you go man. Use it on your website.

Archiebabes EVO X And Luis3rd's Subaru STI 08 Photoshoot

Check out these amazing photography from my friend Luis who owns one of the cleanest 2008 Subaru STI in Socal{thumbup**

The shots were taken today at our local industrial area.

Stay tuned for more amazing photograpy.

The next stage will be in the canyons.{thumbup**

I would like to thank Derek @ Rexpeed for providing me with the carbon fiber vents.

This should be a good project to do today{thumbup**

I will post installed pics asap.

New Mods{thumbup**

1. Painted JUN Lip
2. Rexpeed Varis Style Carbon Fiber Dual Cannards

Carbon Fiber Vents Installed

Got rid of the Dumbo Ears and replaced it with the JUN carbon fiber mirrors.

The mirrors are light, weight savings from about 10lbs - 15lbs from stock

Testing out the new Nikon D90 camera with auto settings minus the flash.

Very good camera overall with 12 megapixels and the ability to shoot HD movies at 720p.

New Install

Rexpeed OEM Carbon Fiber Center Hood Duct

Ralliart Tail Lights Installed

Personally I think it looks Mean As Hell on RED!

New Install

Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Mini Spoiler

New Mods

1. Traded in the Volk TE37's to the AME TM02 Wheels 19X9.5 with 265 width tires.
2. Voltex Type 5 1500 Wet Carbon Wing

New Rims

Volk CE28N 19X10.5 +22 Offset wrapped on Falken 452 275/35/19

Thanks to Derek @ Rexpeed for providing me with a quality product once again.

It's one of their new carbon fiber replacement for the OEM Intercooler Panel.

Fitment is like OEM

I decided to get an ECUTEK Retune today from HB Speed.

370whp and 410wtq on Pump Gas + 100% Methanol

The Dyno is Dynomite - reads lower whp than Dynojet confirmed.

My car made 358whp and 366wtq on a Dynojet Dyno

On a Dynomite Dyno my car made 345whp and 366wtq.

That is 11whp less, but the torque stayed the same.

The car is boosting 30PSI

Mods are listed below.

1. 5 Zigen Dual Cat Back Exhaust
2. UR Downpipe
3. UR Test Pipe /w Mini Muffler
4. Turbo Trix IC Pipings
5. AGP Front Mount
6. Forge BOV
7. Hallman MBC
6. Turbo Trix Intake Piping /w HKS SMF Filter

The torque hit is insane, imagine being rear ended by a truck going 30 miles an hour. That's how hard the torque hits.

I think I need a neck brace after drving the car LOL

Looks really good, I also have the TurboTrix Piping Kit, however I went with an AMS FMIC.

Im currently debating between ETS Exhaust and BC Racing Coilovers.

^^ Thanks

I was debating over the AMS Front Mount and AGP, but the AGP is cheaper plus it comes with the silicone couplers.

The Tig Welds are awesome too.

Hmmm silicone couplers, I never thought about that before I ordered my FMIC.
Kinda wish I would have held out for ETS

Dude, I'm not sure what's wrong with your camera but your car look sick! I've never seen a RR look that good. I even test drove one but didn't care for the color. I've gotta go back and check the color out.

The Evo looks great Archie i was wondering about the turbotrix up pipe, and relocating the bov to that pipe. is there any pros or cons to it? i always thought it was best to run bov before the throttle body.
