HOW-TO: ETS Intake and ETS UICP Detailed Install Guide
EDIT DEC 11,2017: Been awhile since I've been on here. Thanks to whoever rehosted the pics. If these drop off again, perhaps a mod can email me, and I'll put them back up. I won't get rid of the original pics.
..
I know there's another install thread running right now, but I promised the guys at ETS I would get this done.
First a review of the ETS intake and UICP.
Fitment:
- excellent. Nothing need to be modified at all. The MAF adapter fits perfect.
Quality:
- top notch quality. When installing it, there wasn't once where I wished they used something different.
Sound:
- the rush of air you hear is amazing! And the BOV comes to life too.
Performance:
- Much more responsive over stock.

Fantastic write-up and great pictures. I hope to be doing my intake/intercooler/uicp install this weekend if the parts arrive by then. This will work <Mr. Burns Voice:> "perfectly."

Thank you for the awesome photos - I just installed my intake (not ETS, sadly) and the instructions that came with it were utter crap. Better used as toilet paper.
I have installed an intake before (naturally aspirated engine), but this was a whole different ballgame with the vacuum line and bov return hose.
And OMG, that stupid hose clamp on the turbo inlet is a nightmare! I don't know how you got such clean photos of it, I could barely feel it let alone see it.
In short, I was utterly lost until I read your writeup. Also have learned my lesson and will get ETS parts in future.
THANK YOU!

This helped the intake install so much!
I have just the upper portion of the uicp coming from ets, can I install that without taking out the lower part of the factory uicpiping?
