cool, but just to be clear, i don't have a roll cage either, it is just the ams harness bar. another good solution is the gopro camera. it uses a very strong suction cup or 3m adhesive clip to mount the camera. the below video is of it mounted on the outside of my wifes car but you could easily mount it to an interior window or something.

On the "other" Evo X forum site, there's a hot-to involving using the center child restraint mount point. It looks pretty good. I was intending to use that, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

There is a HOW-TO instruction made by one of the MOD in here which cost approx $15 to make. I still in the process of making one myself but haven't finish yet. Just search

Burshur Racing sells a stud mount that bolts into the rear shelf where a child seat restraint was meant to attach. It's $25 and works well. The top threads will allow you to thread your camera on it like a tripod.

The only drawback is the camera is further back compared to rollcage mounts so you may not be able to film all of your dash/gauges. You should check with them if it is known to work with evoX. The pictures show a 8/9 rear shelf

I called and talked to Jarrod yesterday; he says it does *NOT* fit.
But their adapter is very, very nice; just for 8s or 9s, hehe.

Besides, it is actually made by Manfrotto. Anyone who knows anything about photography knows they are an extremely reputable brand.
Nice thing also is that they have different models with different suction cups with lower/higher ratings. My suction cup is slightly bigger than the one pictured.
