Ams test pipe install pictures

Enjoy some pictures of my test pipe install.
and thanks everybody for the tips to do it right

REMOVE OXIGEN SENSOR/ REMOVING THE RUSTED BOLTS. PIECE OF CAKE WITH POWER TOOLS

STOCK CAT IS HEAVY. DON'T LEAVE IT "HANGING" WITHOUT SUPPORT

DO NOT EVEN TRY TO TOUCH THE OXIGEN SENSOR. AFTER 30 MINUTES IS STILL HOT!!!

UGLY!

WELLCOME AMS TEST PIPE!!

FINAL DETAILS. NOTICE OXIGEN SENSOR SPACER. GOT IT AT AMS WEB SITE. I'M USING THE SMALER JET FROM THE 3 THAT CAME IN THE PACKAGE

TEST PIPE CAME WITH AN EXTRA BUNG FOR WHATEVER "EXTRA NEED" WE MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE. TOP QUALITY. 10/10.

THIS PIPES ARE A MUST TO MAKE THIS CARS FASTER. I'M RUNNING COBB AP II STAGE 2 NOW AND YEAP IT GOES FASTER.

No cells. Nothing.
Sound...i didn't notice any diference with the stock Unit. Maybe just a little louder.
Smell.....yes a little smelly. i also notice more black dust at the exhaust tips. before all that dust was collected at the Cat converter. now it flows all to the end. but again. nothing to be worry about.
AMS has now a summer sales discount. i mention it at phone and they hook me up with some discount for the pipe+O2 spacer+shipping .i got a nice deal.

yeap the rest of the exahust is stock. AMS is not cheap, you know, but i wouln'd go for any other. i'm not sure if go next for the downpipe or the dual rear end. most of the tunners said that the rear end is one of the most restrictive parts of our exahust sistem.
it sucks to do the exahust in parts like this, but is the way i can do it.
and sorry about the Oxygen "Y" my english sucks too. i wasn't born here.

i haven't done the downpipe yet, but i don't think you need a O2 sensor spacer for the downpipe.
call AMS if you want to be 100% sure.
or just look for any "AMS downpipe how to" post in the forum, there is a couple.

As far as i know there is not such huge flow restriction in our stock downpipe as the cat and rear mufler create. Aftermarket downpipes has a bigger diameter, less weight and better material (ss). i will get one latter on.

last time i check for the ams downpipe was in backorder.
still the same?

I need to update the install pictures with the cat-back single exhaust also from AMS.
Now that I have almost the full exhaust done (down pipe still missing) I can say that the power gains with a proper tune are great!
I’m missing a custom tune, but I have to say that the Cobb Stage 2 93+AF is a great map.

Nevertheless I have to warning all those doesn't like to bring the attention with a noisy exhaust, it is in fact a laud exhaust. I love the tone, how it flows, but it is indeed a performance racing boy.
And don't be afraid to melt your rear bumper because it won't. The fitment is perfect and there is plenty room. I check it my self after a good 30 minutes city driving and the plastic area around the tip was just slightly hot, provably same temp than the stock, I never check before
