How to make doors auto lock when you move?

Like the title says, is there any method on how to program the door locks to auto lock when the car starts moving? I remember seeing a thread before but cant find it anymore.

Or is this impossible and requires an aftermarket module?

Chances are if it is not set up to do that from the factory then you can't do it. Like the other poster said an aftermarket alarm can do it. Honestly easier, just get into the habit of doing it yourself.

ive been wondering this as well...there is a setting for the doors to auto OPEN when you put the car into park (on the MR version)...after scrolling through all the options, there is no setting for auto LOCK after putting into Drive...kinda weird since the first option exists...

Have the driver or front passenger hit the lock switch on the door when they first feel or see the car move.

There is no built-in or programmable way in the X to have the car do it for you.

Drives: Evo 10, Legacy GT,

I think the only way you can do this is by purchasing an aftermarket alarm system with that feature.
