How do you lose weight on the X?
I would like to start cutting weight of the X but was wondering what are some of the major and minor things I can take out to lose it. So far I only took our the spare tire which I read somewhere was about ~40lbs. I don't want to lose anything essential though like rear seats though..

Small Battery from AMS.
New Exhaust from AMS/ETS/Buscher/etc (I am pretty sure they all weigh less)
Spare Tire
I know Robi is working on some things to drop some weight as well.

you can also use ultimate racings test pipe... its only 4 lbs... stock is 14 lbs... not much..but make power and lose weight! though if it were me id go with ams's test pipe... only because its dyno sheets to prove it makes power.

front seats to bucket seats, small battery ,empty trunk, coul overs, exhaust etc, airbags , seat belt to racing harness , wheels , brake rotors , etc , the possibility is virtually endless.

There are dyno gains posted for the ultimate racing test pipe as well...
I thought the light battery kit shaved closer to 25lbs instead of 15lbs anyone confirm this? Lighter rims are a great way to shed the lbs because its rotational mass so you should make more power to the ground as well as overall better performance. If your hardcore gut the interior, remove ac, remove air bags, remove passenger seat, remove radio...you get the picture.
For a daily driver I'd say just swap the rims/brakes, ditch the spare tire/jack/tools/trunk carpet/, light weight flywheel when they become available, full turbo back exhaust should save about 25-50lbs, and lightweight suspension pieces when they become available including coil overs. ~Trent
