i've learned that when it comes to weight reduction, go big or go home. unless you are willing to go all the way just leave everything in. i used to be so anal about weight. but a car isn't as drivable or usable without the sound deadening material, the door panels, armrests, interior paneling, blah blah blah. if your car feels sluggish to you just buy a dp and exhaust. it will pick right up. don't take out the spare tire or anything. when it comes time to replace your battery then go ahead and get the smaller one, but don't go out of your way just to half ass your weight reduction. but if it makes you feel any better to cut weight then all these suggestions are great. i've just been there and done that and kinda over it myself, but it's your car so do what you want to do. if it makes you feel better to cut alittle weight here and there go for it.

mitsu made the MR to use new two-piece rotor construction to reduce weight. (The 2-piece disc is 2.9 pounds lighter per wheel 11.6 lbs in just different rotors why is it that the fancy automatic get the cool toys The MR model is also equipped exclusively with Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs guess it is the only way to sell them sorry for the rant just tired of seeing the automatic in most of the test and comparsons seems like there are really pushing hard to get them moving but anyway my point 11.6 lbs lighter for better rotors

Drives: YOUR girl crazy!!!

I think we might be down to around 2900 ish pounds on our time attack car

Not sure yet, untill we dial in the suspension and corner weigh it, right now we are assuming it's gotta weigh at least that, cause we took out A LOT of sh!t.

IF you wanna shed weight, it's like that one guy posted, go big or go home, you don't wanna half ass it, if your not racing, don't worry about the weight.. drive it as it comes from the factory.

^I hope that you guys tossing out the spare tire and driving on the road are at least keeping a can of "fix-a-flat" in the car. You can call AAA to fix a flat but it sure sucks standing around waiting.

There are far more cost efficient ways to save pounds than carbon fiber. You can spend thousands on goofy looking trunk lids and spoilers and be lucky to shed 5-10 pounds.

Lose rotational mass, lighter wheels, lightweight flywheel, and our 2pc rotors.

We can drop 18lbs of your rotational mass.

Or...

Turn your spoiler wing upside down so it makes lift making your car technically lighter
