help with side skirt..

hi i have 2008 ww with sss package.... cant seem to find anyone that fixed th rear section of the side skirt....

I have the same problem, i went to my dealer and warranty covered it.

The side skirt repair kit on this web site is suppose to fix it

Yeah I saw the parts for fixing side skirt but don't know if it's for the front or the rear..

The rear clip holding the skirt to the car is plastic...this clip was broken when I picked up the car and looked very much like your picture. They tried to repair it and it worked for about long enough to drive home so they replaced the side skirt under warranty. Try searching - I couldn't find the thread, but pretty sure I read someone on here made a metal clip to replace the plastic...

Even with the new one there is still a gap on that side, but of course "that is normal"...and I don't see any way to adjust it so that it would actually fit without a gap like the other side, so I decided to live with it for now.

My side skirt was the same way when I brought mine home. Go to the dealer and have them order you a clip for the evo IX sideskirt. It holds much better the clip for the X. You will have absolutely no gap anymore.

No problem. It has worked great for me. Its been on mine for a year now and it's still holding nice and tight.

same problem just happened with my side skirt - not sticking out quite so much but still sucks, dealer here i come (freakin' p.i.t.a.)
