I'm not sure where my post went, but the golden metallic is normal with polished stainless steel. This happens a ton on polished exhaust manifolds. I'm not aware of any fitment issues with our exhaust system, that's interesting. Stock Cat? Stock Downpipe?

Thanks,

Michael

some SS exhausts out there turn yellow / golden after many years due to the heat, but if yours is that new and it turned, I'm just guessing that your exhaust runs very hot~

My tips also turn black after a few days, but even cleaned off they are noticably gold...I don't think there is a film. I'll try some polish, but if the heat permanently changed the color of the metal how would that help? I've known over time the metal would change color...just didn't think it would be after 3 weeks. Other than that, the ETS exhaust sounds sick!

Nah, only if you mind the gold colour. Sometimes the increase in temp comes from less heat syncing such as resonator deletes, less overall surface area (design), or less thickness (saves weight!). Even true Titanium overtime turns pure blue!

Once your exhaust gets a little dirty, you'll stop caring! It's more important to wipe down finger prints before starting it up as those turn much uglier!
