So you basically want that, but 100 dollars cheaper?

So does everyone, hence why it's 200 dollars

Actually, I have no idea if anyone makes something similar to that. The "universal" mounts would work, but would not be nearly as attractive. I'm slightly worried how "high" it sits up on the dash, as I'm short and don't want to be blocked

We installed this gauge pod recently on a customers car and it worked great. It snapped right in to the factory location and it holds 3 ( 2 1/16 ),52mm gauges. I did get a chance to drive the car around and it was surprisingly not too much in the way of seeing the road. If you are one of those guys or gals that like to recline the seat back and try to drive ( Detriot lean so to speak ) then you might have some issues. All in all this is a great product with no fitment issues, again you get what you pay for

I second Andrew's comments. I have it, installed for a while (think i was the third one sold) and it is amazing. 200 bucks is cheap for a piece of this quality, and what other options are there anyway? One pillar that looks nice, but you need to send out your pillar and there's a waiting list. And pillar pods are a bit 'ricey' to me. This looks OEM, fits OEM, and is worth every penny!

I wish they would make one that just has one gauge hole that just nestled down between the speedo and tach.

I've had this pod on for a week or so now, and I love it! I have my boost and A/F ratio in it, and the third opening is unused... it is where I store my data logger cable nice and neat, out of the way but easily accessible.

Only thing I don't like is at night there is some glare on the windshield from the lit up gauges. I am correcting that with some gauge light shrouds from a company in the UK. Here they are:

What I really need is some kind of cover to go over the unused hole when I am not data logging. Anyone know of a blank plastic cover that will snap into the unused hole?

Later,

Keith

Forgot to mention, I am not tall (5' 8") and have a bit of a lean back on my seat and I have no trouble seeing over the pod.

theres a company that sells gauges called Prosport. their gauges come with those in the box. they might be able to sell you some for less cash than getting them from the UK. i would give you mine but i sold the gauges and sent those along with them.

The ones from the UK are much lower price... shipping is a bit more expensive, but it is about a break even situation so I didn't cancel my UK order.

Thanks for the info though... if I hadn't already ordered the ones from the UK I would have gotten the prosport ones.... prosport has the unused gauge pod cover I asked about as well, and I went ahead and ordered that from them.
