556hp Cadillac CTS-V vs. Stock EVO X MR - Revenge FQ400 vs. CTS-V (Merged)
Bob Lutz from GM issued a Challenge for people to submit their cars to compete against the 556hp Cadillac CTS-V.
http://www.ctsvchallenge.com/
The race happens tomorrow, and one of the entrants will be a Mitsubishi EVO X MR!
Read more about it here...

It was supposed to be Jaguar XFR vs. M5 vs. Audi RS5 vs. Cadillac CTS-V. But Jaguar backed out of the competition (admitting that they'd lose), and its been replaced by an EVO X MR!

Someone please if the MR a quick "flash" tune for about 20-30 more hp (the way mitsu should have sold it from the factory). Whos would know if the caddy cheated? I'm sure they cold make a smaller supercharger pully that looks stock on the V. I know it's not all about HP, but this should really help the evo.

Really? You want them to cheat with the Evo?

Did he throw down the gauntlet for any stock sedan in the world? Or just in the USA?
The FQ400 is stock. I'd pay to see that competition.

Go Evo
The turn by turn analysis is pretty interesting. If the Evo driver gets ahead early on the first set of corners and doesn't make any mistakes he has a real good chance. Should make a good show for the SST.

as much as I like the evo, I don't see it running down the competition on this one. It will surely out corner the caddy but the caddy doesn't handle all that bad according to the reports.
The FQ400 would light up that caddy but i am unsure of the MR, I really hope it wins but I guess im just being a bit more realistic.

According to the site, it's "any stock production sedan on the planet" so I'd guess an FQ400 would do--if it's still in production.
I think the V is going to win.
