Its a test of performance sedans, or else BMW would have entered the M3 coupe instead of the sedan, and an M6 instead of an M5.

They are an opportunity for the manufacturer to show their engineering merits and get consumers to believe that there's a little bit of that engineering going into every car that they build. There are plenty of members of this forum who own other Mitsu vehicles simply because of their good experience owning an Evo. It's worked in those situations and has worked for every other auto manufacturer.

LOL - I'm a V owner and in his 30's.
I'm also an EVO fan.
No need to lump all CTS-V owners into the grandpa category. The V is an AMAZING car, as is the EVO.

forgive me for not reading the 30 pages, but just pointing out that the FQ400 X beat the caddy V by somewhere near 2 seconds when Car magazine was doing its PCOTY test.. Interestingly enough I think the E63 AMG was right on par with the FQ400's time though. Honors went to the Evora for overall performance I believe

I especially like the top 10 of the 30 that the FQ was classed with
1. Noble M600 1:30.64
2. Lambo LP670 1:31.74
3. Corvette ZR-1 1:32.40
4. Audi R8 V10 1:33.34
5. Lambo Gallardo Balboni 1:34.28
6. Ferrari California 1:34.67
7. Aston Martin V12 Vantage 1:34.82
8. Mercedes E63 AMG 1:36.22
9. Mitsu Evo FQ400 1:36.64
10. Porsche Panamera Turbo 1:36.83
shows you what 100 more bhp and a tweak can do on a track.

Saw one on the road for the first time. It definitely looks like a very tame car... extremely misleading.
The suspension does not look comfy AT ALL. The wheel gap made me think stock suspension, but the bouncy and stiff way this thing was riding on the highway made me semi-disgusted for it being a luxury car

It actually has a pretty nice ride and I've been in the front and back seats. Its kind of funny how my 75 year old father will hot rod his CTS-V around town.

It has a very compliant, smooth luxury car ride over even choppy pavement. Magnetic Ride Control is serious business.

+1, that's what caught my eye. It's nice to see that Benz has finally made an E-class AMG with handling to match the power!

Do you know off-hand if these are swapped out with anything? Do they lower this car using the stock equipment? Magnetic IS srs bsns... it just looked like it was bouncing as if it were riding on springs made of concrete, unbelievably stiff.
I'd like to ride in one to see first hand... some day
