Anyone Buy A 2010 Evo X Antenna For Their 2008-09 X Yet?
Anybody buy a 2010 Evo X antenna for their 2008 or 2009 Evo yet? If so, where did you buy it, how much, and how's the reception? I've seen pictures of the 2010 X antenna and it looks much better than the 2008.
I bought a shorty antenna on eBay a couple months ago and I'm just not happy with it (poor reception, ugly fit). I'm also not digging the short length of Perrin's longest 3" antenna either, which I feel is still too short.

yes radio reception sucks, I wouldn't mind having a longer antenna so I can get some clearer sound.

I purchased mine last week from Don Herring when I was there for the fuel rail recall. $24 and change.

Do you guys live out in the middle of nowhere?
My radio reception is perfect, even with my Perrin 3" shorty.

When I'm close to Boston, reception with my shorty antenna is perfect. But 20 miles outside Boston in my home town, I start to lose stations.

I'm in the middle of a city of over 1 million people and reception goes fuzzy going through underpasses with the Perrin and the 2010 antenna. I've never had these types of issues with a car ever.

antenna length doesn't affect the satellite reception either.

Mine was slightly better with the OEM than with the Perrin on far away stations.

Yesterday I ordered a 2010 antenna and center cup holder consol.
I guess I'll find out if the 2010 antenna is better than the shorty antenna I currently have.
