Received my 2010 Evo X antenna and cup holder console just yesterday (man that was fast MitsubishiParts.net ! )

The reception from the 2010 antenna is WAY better than the 2" shorty I had on there before, and the 2010 cup holder console with the door looks very nice too...gives the interior a more "finished" look. I never liked the open minivan style cup holders in the 2008.

I'm just about to put the 2" Perrin on my 2010 MR Touring. Does that only affect am and fm or is Sirius also running through this antenna?

Hmmm. I guess I'll find out for myself. Hope it turns out that way for me too.

sirius and am/fm are two different antenna styles.. the sat antenna is in the larger base of the antenna assembly.

Installed a Perrin shorty today. No problems. Fitment is perfect and I didn't notice any reception issues yet. I'll keep my 2010 antenna just in case.

Can you guys explain to me what this "radio" thing is that you are talking about? Since I got my first XM radio like 7 years ago, I refuse to listen to regular radio anymore. Being that my daily commute to work is 12 minutes, I refuse to listen to 12 minutes of straight commercials.

I just replaced my antenna on my car with a shorty and checked the FM reception real quick, and it was as normal as any other FM radio (static, with endless god damn commercials). But then, I'm in the city.
