Daytime running light always on after clutch swap

my daytime running lights should come on after i switch into first gear but after the clutch swap they are always on now unless i turn on the hid headlights, where shouldi check?

Didn't even know the Xs had always-on auto daytime runners... Turning on only when you shift into first gear is kinda cool... Mine are always on unless I pull up a little on the ebrake.

now i am confused......... i think mine works with the ebraeak too, illcheck right now

If you are parked with the e-brake, the daytime running lights turn on when you disengage the e-brake, when the car is on obviously.

on the X they should come on and stay on as soon as you disengage the parking brake. they will not turn off until you turn your car off.

Unless you have SSS, in which the DRL's will turn off when you turn on the HID's.
