AWC flash Question

This is the link to AWC flash http://tinyurl.com/yl7vhro

I have a 2008 Evo X MR. I just had the AWC reflash.

This could be a stupid question: I had my car tuned ( just tuned the stock ecu). Now according to the TSB reflash, they said they reflashed the ECM to make it LEANER. I'm not too sure, but does the AWC reflash affect the ECU?

(1) Does my tune go away?

(2) If my tune didn't go away, then according to the TSB reflash- they said it leaned out the ECM. My tuner really leaned out my car. Does this extra "LEAN" affect my car? I could be running dangerously Lean?

Now i have searched and there have been a few answers.

(A) One person said the AWC flash is different from the ECU. So otherwise your tune will not be affected.

(b) One person says since the AWC flash was done. You just lost your initial tune.

I'm really confused. I don't have any gauges or anything to know if i lose my flash or not.

the TSB says nothing about fuel.

the AWC reflash won't affect your t00n.

you should get a copy of your ROM from your tuner so you or someone else can reflash it.

Free bump to find out.

The way I understand it the flash is for a different ECU...so it should not affect your tune.

what the hell are you bumping it for? I already told you the answer. two different computers, two different ROMs, won't affect your tune.

IIRC, the TSB article shows them physically plugging into a totally different computer than the ECU. I cannot verify, but I will be getting it done next Thursday, if you want to wait until then to see

Well, I'd know pretty damn quick. My car is night and day difference between tuned and untuned, but yeah, the wideband would read it a *LOT* richer at WOT versus Buschur's ~11.0 AFR at WOT in my car.
