Drives: 2008 Evo X GSR

Squeaky Recaros....

Now that the weather has turned cold - both of my front Recaro seats picked up this annoying squeak. Whenever the occupant moves side-to-side, or during turns while driving (with the radio turned down)...

The sound seems to come from behind the crank wheel which adjusts the seat angle. I've tried to shoot some silicone into the seat-back near that spot, but can't get it to stop.

Anybody else have squeaky recaros?
Anybody else figure out the a good way to get rid of the noise?

Drives: IX MR

I found that this on my IX was actually the seat belt buckle... There is a metal arm holding the connector up to a comfortable position and if i just push that towards the center console the squeak goes away for me... Havent had the time to rip out the seat and see what i can do yet though.

I think that's the issue for my X as well. And seems to only happen on the passenger side. It doesn't seem to happen to me that often though, just every once in a while, and whenever I go over bumps.

EVO X is like that same dirty girl but she had to go to boarding school and she came out with some manners. Just need to push her a bit and her dirty side will come out. She's a career girl with who wants to be naughty at night.
