Wire mesh in front of intercooler problems

I was washing my car and the sponge got hooked on the wire mesh and it wripped off like it had been tacked to the bumper.

Question, would I be crazy to think that this would be covered under warranty?

Dont on it being under warranty. A few of the clips have fallen off my skid plate and will be replaced out of pocket.

Sorry guy. Mits will not cover it unless they feel like it was a factory defect, unless the service mechanic's cool.
