Why even start a thread on an EVO board when your looking to buy a Comaro, WRX or Evo X, when all of us drive EVO's. Of corse it's going o be bias... Test drive them all like stated above but don't get upset when all of us shout EVO. When I went to purchase my EVO, no other car had my attention and that still stands to this day!

You have a tough choice.

I guess I would go with the camaro, love the retro gauges in the cockpit. I like both cars mentioned, but what the heck i have an 8..

I still get goosebumps driving the evo though! Also, if you go evo route, after a tune your range will drop below 240miles. I think i get just over 210 miles per tank the way i drive it.

...and you failed to search about springs?!
Which springs to go for.

go get your camaro.

regarding the price for the EVO X, it will depend on where you get them from. Here's a good start to find the price you may be paying for.

How much should I pay for an EVO X

goodluck.

My options are anything at or around 33k just so I dont go too expensive.
1. 2010 Evo x gsr
2. 2010 Camaro SS 6spd $31K
3. 2010 wrx
4. dont know lol

- I know this is pointless but I love the Evo's looks, but its so damn heavy.
- The Camaro is 426hp and hott also, at the same price, but not AWD... hmmm
- The Wrx has engine problems, doesnt look as good, but it is faser 0-60 (4.7), and save $8k, but it runs way too lean to modify safely...

So my question is, is it worth the $$ 33+,000 ?? Ive done all the reasearch on all three, months of reading, can I get a lil help here. What should I buy, pay, recommended colors, ect...

I am 57. I have had many cars. I grew up in Italy. Buy an EVO X. I have an EVO IX an it moves, its rough riding, doesn't have criuse, can't drink coffee on a bumpy road, had to learn how to feness the throttle instead of just pushing down.....in other words flooring it in a corner on HWY 2 in SoCal gives you great experiences with spin outs/ i have had two due to my excessive throttle use. My son has an IX with water meth and easily eats eight cylinders for lunch. Buy an Evo X. Better yet buy an EVO IX SE. Many nice used ones out there... i say this because you haven't experienced the type of control and power an evo has, taste the waters before you jump.

Test them all an maybe think about used because you don't seem to have an solid path on any of the vehicles mentioned.
