Thanks, I don't really care about the luxury aspect, I was just looking for a good cruiser. Plus, the Evo is no slouch in the luxury department. BMW still doesn't put 6 disc in dash CD players in their cars...

I went to go look at the Benz, MB of Freehold has a black C63, just a little too much coin for me right now. The salesman said they are offering crazy incentives on it and he thinks I could have got one for 55k.
Hoping to pick up the 335xi this weekend since I have to leave next week for a business trip. Will definitely stop by... Already thinking about ordering some mods.....

Excellent choice, but just know that the after market support is strong for the 335 as well. Two words AMS & Proceede, you'll have 400whp in a week. I'm a member of a good bimmer forum as well e90post.com Check them out but make sure you stay here and keep us updated with pics and dyno graphs and such.

Thanks. Just joined E90post and N54tech.com It looks like with some software, intakes, and exhaust work they can make 375whp pretty easily. Should be fun

I have an 2006 STi and it cruises great on the highway but I'm ready to make a change. I've been looking at the BMW 135i and the EVO X. The 135i handles really well...not as good as the EVO, not many cars do from the factory. I just can't seem to make up my mind...All-Wheel-Drive because I live in Boston but the car would be a DD. I don't know and I really like both cars, I guess if the BMW came down just a bit in price. The funny thing is when I drive my STi everything is alright...it's when I'm sitting around thinking about newer cars that I get the bug! LOL! I love cars with power and handling.
2006 STi [present]
2002 WRX
1999 Acura 4-door GSR
1995 BMW M3 supercharged
1992 BMW 325 with turbo
1990 BMW 535 bored & Stroked to 4 Liters

WOW, that is a great trade-in value IMO.. Considering all the mods. You think they'll replace everything and convert back to OEM specs?? Or sell it as is? I can't really see a dealer covering that car under warranty...

you didn't know the Evo was going to have the short top gear when you bought it? It seems like you would have done more research before buying the X. I wish you luck on your new car, but aside from the M3, I don't know what people see in BMW's.

GL with the new BMW! I have an VIII and when I do cruise on the highway, it does suck - especially w/o Cruise Control...

damn 50k, 45k, that's still a lot of money... it gets closer and closer to an M3 sedan; but hey good luck with your new purchase and enjoy it; I've always liked them 335s as an Evo alternative as well plus you're getting an interior the Evo can't dream to match

The car is in stock condition. All the parts were removed and are currently for sale. I thought the trade in was fair which is why I pulled the trigger.

Well, I considered the M3 sedan, but with comparable options, the car is around 62k and the big killer is the huge jump in insurance costs. Plus, no AWD
