Try getting the body shop to cover the windows w/ going through the insurance. Also, try spraying some Pledge (furniture cleaner) and see if they are less noticeable. Goodluck.
The only reason the body shop is paying my deductible is because my insurance co. is sort of leaning on them. Not really, since now I am only getting OEM sides and aftermarket front and back. If I didn't file a claim, I would have been stuck fighting the body shop and my insurance adjuster since all they wanted to do was blame Mitsubishi for faulty glass. After this fiasco is done I am switching insurance co's. Sorry if that sounded like I was venting.

Insurance is a legal scam!

I think insurance is a bunch a BS. They are happy to take your money. When you need them, they cause as much grief as they help you with.

I would think if the insurance and body shop claims it is faulty glass, Mitsubishi should have to replace the windows. Were the scratches there when you bought it? Did you buy it new?

If you have straches on the inside than its prolly from the crap weatherstriping stuff that Mitsu installed on the new lancers and Evos. They are made of hard rubber and if you roll you windows down with tint on them it can scratch em up.. But the same thing happens to your windows too. The rubber piece can actually put scratch marks on the glass.

You have to order this stuff called "Moleskin" and get it installed. I just ordered mine. They have a special deal for Evom users. I thinks it like $20 or something.

Yeah, I put the mole skin on my windows and they still scratch. I keep the inside of my car immaculate so I think it is the mole skin that does the scratching.

Didn't notice any scratches when I bought it brand new with 15 miles on it. Car went to the body shop with 500 miles on it, and it came back like that.
