New EVO X
Just bought an EVO X WW last weekend. Coming from a highly modded M3, the EVO X feels amazing. Totally different car and much better than I ever thought it would be.
I had Cusco coilovers installed last night at GMG - Global Motorsports Group and a set of WORK emotions 18 x 9.5 +12 off-set... The setup and handling makes a massive difference vs. stock. Really happy with the Cusco's, as the quality is really good for the price. Looking forward to more modding.

That's a pretty aggressive offset, does it stick out too far? Any rubbing? Or are you just running crazy negative camber to make the top of the tires tuck in? Oh, congrats BTW!

The 18 x 9.5 + 12 required rolling the rear fender and some negative camber in the front. Feels perfect and looks amazing. Running Toyo TR1's 265/35/18. Car feels / looks perfect.
The M3 feels lighter...but the EVO is much easier to drive better. There is NO match in build quality. The M3 feels like a $55,000 car with the interior and general build quality. I still have both cars, and drove them both yesterday, so you can tell immediately. The EVO is very fun to drive and totally different to the M3.

I've been thinking about maybe getting an e46 m3 in a year or so in addition to the X. Suprisingly they can be bought with 30K-50K or so miles for mid to upper 20's now it seems(circa 03-04). I know in general they cost a lot to maintain , but if one were going to put say 5k or so a year miles of dd on the car, is a used e46 a reasonable proposition based on your experience.
