Yeah, thats dust from your brake pads and other road debris that get on your paint and starts to rust. It's a PITA to get it all off, It took me 10 hours to remove it from my last white car with a clay bar. After that, I decided I'm not going to buy another white car.

got the car april 08 and only has 5k miles on it, sadly the first week i got it, 'twas keyed at the mall. And now the paint has all these spots, should had gone with the GGX.!!

I know how you feel bro...my car was keyed a few weeks ago from front driver door to back bumper. Costed 2g's to repaint the areas...my insurance company covered it though but I still had to pay the deductible.
As for the rusting, yeah it's rail dust and I'm out there every spring clay barring my car
Does anybody know if switching brake pads to one made of a different compound would help?
