Thumbs up HKS Super Turbo Muffler!

Yah Yah, i know what you guys are thinking. "what the hell is up with all this HKS talk" But i was bored at work and wanted to see if there are any new JDM goodies out and look what i found.

http://japanparts.com/db/parts_detai...=23&submit.y=1

it seem that they made a new dual tip exhaust for our car. Looks better designed so you don't get that burnt look at the center of exhaust like my legamax. I bet it sounds badass. Hope this isn't a repost

seems very similar to my Greddy SE but w/ ~3" piping compared to 2.75" The Greddy only has 1 bend going into the muffler though, vs. the split and 2 here...

^^ Dunno.. they had it listed at a few different online parts shops (just search for 31029-AM003), but I'm not sure if that was pre-order or in-stock.

Anyone know why the description reads "Not compatible with 5MT registered after April 2010"?

The pic with that blurb was from HKS Australia.. so maybe it's just a new aftermarket law for there or Japan?

I have a feeling that last part might just be due to noise / emissions regulations

Most likely just a law. I dont think Mitsu change the chassis layout for the 10+

I like the style of tips but I think 5" is too big for duals on an Evo.

Otherwise it sounds/looks good.

Sounds fairly quiet to me.. maybe even more so than the ETS v2 Quiet.

Were you expecting electric car silence or something?

Dunno if it's my setup or not, but i got full ETS goodies on my car, but V2 quite is loud as hell, maybe because i got downpipe, resonated test pipe, and V2 quite, i can't even talk on the phone while cruising at 70mph, and my wife wouldn't ride the car either, though i don't care about the later .

But anyways, it makes so much in cabin noise, but on the outside, it's really nice.
