CBRD stock turbo tubular manifold.. evo X..

well,

here are some pics of our tubular manifold for the evo X. Designed and produced in a partnership with our friends at Jm Fabrications, we will have these available shortly...

Third party testing is being done by our friends in california... so we have unbiased results... I'm sure they will find similar results to what we find with the evo 8/9 manifolds.. which is increased peak power, sustained torque, and minimal loss in spool up (normally around 85-100 rpm)...

The manifold has ALOT of clearance to the heatshield on the firewall (apprx. 4.5").... and clears everything else with room to spare..

Stay tuned for more products coming from CBRD, such as our all aluminum IC pipe kit (innovative design), our FMIC (with custom cores specific to our evo X application), Tial manifold with our 33RB and more..

Here are the pics...

Cheers

CB

Also make note, this is just the prototype manifold with the old style head flange being used. The final product will have an equal tapered inlet head flange similar to the current JMF Evo 8/9 stock replacement manifolds.

yep as stated by Brent (the fabricator who made this beautiful piece, and one of my favorite people on the planet because he makes my wacky ideas into real bits and pieces)...

the final versions will have a flange similar to the evo 8/9 with a radiused and stepped introduction into the primary runner for a smoother transition and higher flow...

you can see the difference here, evo X prototype manifold on the left and evo 8/9 final version on the right!! no huge difference in performance, just makes it more efficient to build, and less port work to match, albeit slightly more difficult to machine the flange..

all good things
