Doesn't the evo have 5500 control anyway? Or is it only for 2010? Manual states when clutch is depressed and vehicle is stationary it wouldn't rev over 5500. Never tried though.

Nice car. yea, both 2008 and 2010 have the 5500. As you can see in his first video, he was bouncing off the 5500 limiter. He kinda said it in the youtube notes too.
Like the graphics, reminds me of gates evo X.

Ah.. In Youtube it just said using EcuTek launch control.. perhaps misunderstood.

To be honest I didnt know they all had the LC as standard... our u.k cars dont mention this in the vehicle handbook however all u.k cars are supplied with ecutek map from dealership and not the jdm one. This is done inorder for cars to run in our conditions and our fuel etc...
The car is at about 440whp but in the vid we turned boost down a bit as we need another inline pump now... the fp red has really impressed me

As far as I am aware my tuner is able to adjust launch control settings via ECUTEK... may try 6200 and head to the strip

I have spent alot of money however not sure off the top of my head... it is still a few k off buying a GTR .
