Intake w/Cat-Back + AMS HF Cat?

Ok, I'm about to purchase an Intake and Cat Back, should I also purchase a AMS HFC or should I wait till I purchase more bolt-ons?

I don't know why you think you would have to wait. If you get a cat-back the most restrictive part in you exhaust would be the stock cat. So if you get a HFC or a resonated test pipe you will notice a big difference. You could save the money on the intake tho and get a tune instead. That would give you the best gain.

Thank for the adv. But the Intake is an integral part of my build. I'll look into getting a HFC too then.
The Tune is already Planned.

i thought people weren't seeing gains with an intake after a tune? People have been saying they are pretty much obsolete after a tune and the stock box holds up just fine.

I'd have to say that it depends on the Intake, I'm getting a Ram Air version, and a tune will only improve the performance of the intake, I'll post numbers when i get it tuned by GST come january time-frame.
