The Blaqops control is "progressive" which means the second pump gets steadily increased voltage from the control box based on MAF signal. It sounds like the Buschur controller turns the second pump full on or off based on a boost trigger.

I think both methods will work fine as long as they are consistant so that tuning the crossover range in open loop will be predictable.

I don't know what Walbro says about the socks but I can tell you there are thousands of these pumps/socks being used with E85 at this point with zero problems. No fear of the sock being a problem. If you get right down to it, Walbro doesn't suggest their pumps be used with E85 either.
The double pumper is activated by a 6 psi pressure switch. Same one used in the hundreds and hundreds of EVO8-9 kits we've built. You'll have no problems tuning it.
Tephra is the person who will come up with the dual map switching and I'd guess Jack-of-trades will come up with the switch kits if and when it happens. That is outside of my development work.

Great addition to the X lineup. Will be needing a few of these down the road.

You might want to re-think how you are approaching the development of your double pump fuel system after looking at this link below.

Best of Luck with your new Double Pump System!

Your link has nothing to do with the components we are using, the Walbro pump itself or any issues from any of our products.
No luck required for us.

Glad to hear that your Double Pumper system for the EVO X has addressed all the problems that the EVO X had, in the LINK above (Post #22), when using E-85 over a longer period of time.
The EVO Community will again benefit from your thorough development efforts! Thank You
Bob -
