Stay away from any crank pulleys that don't have an harmonic dampener.

Supposedly the 4b11t was balanced to eliminate the need for balance shafts so in theory it SHOULD be ok....but don't look for me for testing that theory.

I would never consider one for this reason ^^^.
The gain is non-existent and the stress it puts on your engine is certainly not worth it.

The proper name for the part is HARMONIC DAMPNER as in, it dampens the engine harmonics to keep your engine bearings from getting destroyed.
An aluminum crank pulley is NOT a HARMONIC DAMPER and leaves nothing to dampen the twisting and flexing of the crank.
Crank pulleys are NEVER a good idea. FLUIDAMPR is an option for a HIGH PERFORMANCE harmonic damper, self leveling and balancing that will soak up the engine harmonics.
We use one on our 763whp Evo VIII. I am not sure if they make one for the X though.

Absolutely not, and x2 to the first 2 comments. The crankshaft harmonic damper NEEDS to be there because there is absolutely nothing else present to dampen the 2nd order harmonics of the rotating assembly of your 4B11. Given enough power, you can literally shatter a crankshaft without a damper in place. That's worst case of course, but as TTP said above, not having a harmonic damper will absolutely wreak havoc on your main and thrust bearings. This is one of those mods that is NEVER worth it, so just put it out of your mind the 1-2 WHP you might gain from losing a couple of lb's in rotating mass is not worth the extra long-term wear on your crankshaft and bearings.

4-Cylinder Motors inherently Vibrate Harmonically!

Yes, Mitsubishi was most likely able to balance the 4b11t with the Harmonic Balancer. It is impossible to take the Distructive "Harmonics" out of a 4 cylinder motor with out using some sort of external balance system! ( Like Balance Shafts and/or Harmonic Balancer ) There is a natural physical and Distructive dynamic occurring in the Motor because of being a 4 cylinder Motor.

I know my post doesn't concern 4b11's but with my experience with crank pulleys in the past is that they are a waste of money and like said above not worth the increased stress. Nissan guy's swear buy them but I did this on mine and I switched back to the stock one in less than two days. All the noises and weird vibrations I got was enough to make my decision.
