Checked it out and the clutch master was broken, even with the AMS ring and AMS clutch line and the retaining ring popped out of the center of the exedy twin HD.
|
That's just ridiculous. Mitsu ought to be ashamed for this bull#%!. Why make such cheap master cylinders...

i read SSP already have a full billet master clutch cylinder fabricated. you might want to give them a ring and see if they can have their prototype to you. it has to be better than the plastic gimmick cylinder.
and the clutch pedal being slow to come back up...have you tried bleeding the system?

i think you will find you have a hose or something collapsed inside the hose causing a restriction or a pinched line somewhere
i also have the exedy twin and my ped feels like stock
i would take the lines off and see if you can blow threw them
only other this is slave cyl
i can think of anything inside the bellhousing that could go worng
so 1 lines
and 2 slve cyl
cause you have allready put on a new mc and not likely to have 2 in a row bad

did you happen to take the slave cyl off when you did your clutch if so there is a little restrictor in the bottom of the slave cyl mabie you didnt get it back in right
some where in the hydrolic system of the clutch there is a restriction this would be the only thing i can think of that would cause a hard to push pedal with a slow return pedal
i really dont think you will find a problem in the clutch asy itself

So far we haven't had any breakage with the Exedy Triple in our car. We are still running stock components. Good choice going with the DG Setup!
