WOT engine cut out?

Driving today, my car acted as though it hit a boost cut (best way I can describe it), but half a second later, contintued to without issue. NO CEL, no warnings, no sounds from the car, just a big CHUG. Any ideas on what could have casued this?

Thanks

fuel cut or spark plug... I just replaced my spark plugs cuz it would break up in the higher rpm range. When I changed them I found that Mitsu had gaped them wrong. (.037 they are supposed to be .024 to .027 for the 03).

Is there any way you can data log? Do you have access to a tactrix cable and a laptop? You can see If its knock or fuel cut. It was showing knock when I had the spark plug problem. I figured maybe It had been timing and the weather change, so after I flashed timing back to stock I was still getting knock so I pulled my plugs and they looked nasty lol. You can always pop out your plugs and check gap and see how they look. just as around for torque specs and gap (gap will be in the owners manual)

Also how many miles you have on your spark plugs? if you end up needing to change them just get the ngk copper ones, you will need to change them more often but they are cheap and spark better. You may also have to run a bit cooler of a plug since ur running 25lbs of boost. I don't know what numbers to recommend for the evo 10s, I don't know if they are same as 8s and 9s.

The stock plugs should last longer than that but it wont hurt to look at them and see. Maybe one got fouled. Just givin you ideas Im not sure what the problem is. Could be tune or could be plugs. Good luck man, lemme know what It ends up being.

4th gear, WOT, about 5500 RPM probably, then chug and continue WOT. Will take a look at my plugs when I get a chance, I will just avoid going WOT for now.
