I hooked it up to UICP, and air was entered constantly until 25psi. it slowed down to zero. I did several times but i heard anything from there. but my boost still peaks 13 psi with no tapering. is there other restrictors to raise the boost level such as boost pills or Solenoid?? I am using AP stage 1.

I've heard the best place to hook up the is the turbo inlet, and other people on the forum have told me it is 3 inches.

My understanding was that you need to take off the intake and hook it up (i.e. turbo inlet). This is what I was planning on doing when I finish building mine.

Sorry, I think it is 2.5 inches, not three. The intake reduces down in size when it gets to the turbo. Someone correct me here if I am wrong.

yupp use the turbo inlet, and take a spray bottle and put soapy water in it. When you spray the connections, if there is a leak...it should make bubbles.

So you are saying don't pump in more than 27 psi, or it leaks out anyway?

The factory bypass valve varies pretty widely from Mitsu, its the same one from the Evo 9's. Some will hold 33psi, others only 25-26.

You can crush your bypass valve to make it hold more.

i heard there is an o-ring in the turbo oil line that can get displaced if you pressurize the crank case too much. Has anyone experienced an oil leak after doing a boost leak test?
