Engine Noise-Grounding Issue

Since day one my EVO has had the dreaded hum (RPM buzz-presuming there's a grounding issue). Increases with the RPMs, etc. Anyone had and resolved this issue?

It's actually in all gears, not sure why the MOD moved this from general but it's the hum of the engine that can be heard through the speakers. I'm presuming it's a grounding issue but wondered if anyone had tracked this down before i start the search. Seems to be worse when listening to AM?

Send a message via AIM to lancer0220
is this when you use the AUX jacks ? if so use a ground loop isolator otherwise there should be no noise in the speakers under normal radio (fm/am) or cd use, take the car to the dealer.

yes it's usually a grounding issue...supplying additional grounds in the radio and speaker system can fix the issue...also sometimes when your amplifier is busted this happens as well...but since it's new take it to the dealer...

My AUX option used to do that, so I took it back to the dealership. They reconnected the AUX box, and it doesn't do it as much anymore, you can still kinda hear it when the volume is cranked really high, but in the levels that I listen to music at it's not noticeable. But my radio is working fine though.
