fuel pump and high beam relays

I've been reading about the fuel pump relay going bad and potentially damaged your engine. So i decided to swap the fuel pump relay and high beam relay, 2 weeks after, my SES light went on (stays on for 3 days)....also the car started running rough...So I decided to put the original fuel pump relay back (meaning i swapped it out again).....then the SES light went off....just want to share to you guys, I just bought the updated fuel pump relay from JNZ, just to be on the safe side...
