Aftermarket Shift Knob That's Not All Metal?
As the title says, does anyone know of a good, heavy after market shift knob that's not all metal? All the shift knobs I've seen on the forum (ARC, T1R, TWM, etc) are all metal. I think the metal ones look nice and all but in 30C degree weather it gets way too hot and in -30C degree weather it's freaking freezing. Can anyone recommend maybe a leather wrapped shift knob that's good? Thanks!

There are a lot of Delrin knobs on the market too. AMS has a pretty nice one. Check ebay, too. 10 x 1.25 (for the VII/IX, and I assume X).

^Those are pretty nice. A copolymer but they look like they have a shiny finish like metal. Here is the site for Mitsu's: link

I bought a Blox knob for 55.00 and it weighs 490 grams. Is it all metal? Yes. Is it awsomely heavy? Yes. Plastic knobs get hot and cold too. If you are really concerned with the temp of the knob I would get a Blox knob and then have it custom wrapped by a local leather store. Might have to pay some $$$ but you will get an awesome end product. It was the heaviest knob I could find that fits our car.

I have not had a problem with my ARC being hot or cold. I wouldn't choose any other knob.
