23,xxx miles on the car, still on the stock clutch. The last 8K or so miles with 335whp/360ft-lbs. Clutch still works good. I don't baby the car the car at all. Hard miles on the car...still holding up fine.

30,500 miles here and no slippage. Bolt on's in sig. It's been launched twice on the street only and gets hard shifts alot but the launches are what kill the stock clutch. I'm not replacing it till shes done...

What type of clutch is everyone going to put on or wich one are they looking at? I used Exedy twin on my 8 MR and I really liked that clutch, others may disagree but that is the one that I liked and was happy with.

Probably the Exedy Twin when the time comes for a new clutch. Could go cheap and put in a ACT clutch...but I'll go with most folks recommendation.

Evos have always had weak clutches I cant understand how you didnt know this before buying one. Every mag I have ever picked up complained about the 8s and 9s. There has to be a performance shop in dallas that can put in an aftermarket clutch.

Clutch went out at 6K miles no launching just inexperienced driving I guess. Got ACT street racing clutch installed via dealer and I love it especially the quick response from dead stop

taken the restrictor pill out of the slave cylinder allows the clutch to engage "faster" and keep the clutch engagement point the same height.

Just purchased ACT HDSS and lightweight flywheel. Having them installed today. Picking up my baby tomorrow. I'll let you know how it feels.
Mine started slipping at about 25,000

40,000 miles here and no slippage. I don't do launches, just occasional trackdays and high speed runs.
am expecting it to give way anytime now though. Everything has a lifespan and nothing's forever...

If you do decide to launch, just have a clutch handy. I would also check local reputable performance shops about doing an install. They will like charge far less then the dealer to do it.
