The progressive controller "progressively" brings on the second pump based on MAF hz instead of on/off like a Hobbs switch. Think of it as a progressive meth injection controller for your second fuel pump.

So after reading most of this thread, the conclusion was the UR hose is not correct? The stock fuel setup is fine with E85? I had a customer bring this thread to me.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Michael

Is this all done at the pump with the existing wires and ECU controlled voltage or do you need any additional setup aside from the pump assembly?

There is a control box and wiring. It's all part of that package.

If you are not going to upgrade your turbo you just need the walbro fuel pump, 1000 cc injectors, 2-1' gates submersible hoses(available at Napa) for intank, a steel mesh inline fuel filter available at jegs or summit. If upgrading the turbo with E85 then get the double pumper. Oh and a wideband. Also if you are using the walbro you can cut the stock fuel housing to fit perfectly with the walbro pump. I did and saved the 150 for the UR piece. All thats needed is a dremel and 20 min.

I assume wiring instructions are included and hopefully proposed routing for the wiring with the kit?

I'm probably going to order this when I get back from Cali tomorrow or early next week for when my Red gets here. I will break 500whp on dynojet with my red, I am determined

Then i will need to get a new fuel rail and FPR to raise up my pressure a bit so the 1000cc's will work.

I sent you a PM GST, with pretty much the same question, just curious about the installation.

I sure hope so I have a lot of supporting mods I need to get first, so I might not be dynoing until spring, but knowing myself I will sacrifice stuff for my new house for new car parts. Who needs blinds anyway, lol.

I am pissed as right after I buy everything this kit for the double comes out. Now I have to buy another fuel kit when I upgrade my turbo. Would have been nice to just do it once.
