I have had my pill out for a few weeks now and all I can say is WOW! Car shifts so much more consistently and my 2nd and 3rd gear notchiness is totally gone, even with the cooler weather. It is really great not having to double clutch the tranny when it is cold anymore.

does removing the pill affect the shifting? i heard it helps remove some of the griding/notchness

And as stated above, chances are the clutch wouldn't be warrantied if a problem did arrise.

had a bmw 335i and it had the "Clutch Delay Valve" same thing as the "restrictor pill" ... Once I removed it from the 335i, like everyone said, clutch is so much better, and there is really no issues, I drove agressive and the clutch engagement was much better ! Now I am thinking about doing this to the EVO X
Any ideas on average how long it takes to remove the restrictor pill ? is it a easy DIY ?
