although i think this is a pretty ghetto mod myself, i think your best bet would maybe to take a large prybar and mangle it all up in there. i could be wrong, i never did it myself, i bought an aftermarket exhaust

umm i have a cutter and welder so i think ill open it properly (cutting it haha) and i checked out the diagram that works had on their site, im thinking of shortening the path which the exhaust gas has to travel. if i keep the flow path distance the same i suspect itll sound like a slightly louder stock eexhaust, if i make one path shorter than the other it could result in something diff, so i was jus asking if anyone has seeen the insides of mufflers and could chime in
thanks for th idea of the prybar, but that would probaboy obstruct flow haha =) but like i said i dont actually know so any comments r welcome! =)

I guess it's worth a shot. No idea how I'd go about gutting a muffler :-/ But I'd defiantly make sure I have money in hand for a new one incase you majorly **** it up beyond repair or usability

Why not get some exhaust tubing and a muffler and make your own exhaust....that's what I'm doing.

I saw thread on this topic on Evo.net. The owner peeled back a six opening and removed a pipe in one of the chambers, then welded the opening back.
