Question Difference between '08 and '10 GSR stock tune (ROMs 52680020 and 55570005)

Hi guys,
I've already read many threads about this subject, but I found different opinions so I need your help.

The main question is: is the '10 GSR stock tune (ROM 55570005) exactly same as '08 GSR latest stock tune (ROM 52680020)? [And so, also same as ’09 GSR tune (ROM 54060007)?]

Someone says that between ’08 and ’10 model ROM is different but tune is exactly the same, someone else says that the only difference is lean spool enabled (from ’09; and they also suggest to disable it when tuning), someone else says that also other things are different and in fact even power measured on dyno is higher (also max torque is rated at different rpm: 4400 rpm for ’08 and 4000 for ‘10).

Can we do a clarification about this?

Thanks guys!
Stefano

A 291 fly hp rated car put down 295whp? lol

I just checked all tables. Boost / fueling / timing / mivec tables all 100% the same as 2008 Evo 10.

I also found the same thing: all tables are exactly the same, I cannot find any difference. But I have not the experience that you and others guys here have, so this is the reason because I opened this thread.

In any case, it's strange that the max torque is rated at different rpm between '08 and '10 models.

I think people said the torque peak is different because there is a function called "Lean Boost" that is enabled on the 2010 ECUs.

You mean Lean Spool and yes it's enabled in the 2010 models.
