Cobb Stage 2 map stronger than Perrin Stage 3????

We'll as the topic states, I have Cobb 1 and 2 plus perrin stage 3 loaded. I tried them all tonight, and without a doubt Cobb stage 2 pulls harder the the Perrin 3 map. I even did the little dyno thing on the same stretch of road several times. Cobb always came up with more power. I did each one three times. no knock count to speak of. Any thoughts?

You'd have to check the map itself; load timing, boost, MIVEC, etc. What mods do you have for these maps?

I have everything it stipulates for the perrin. Intercooler, tbe, stock intake with drop in, and 93 oct. I thought there was supposed to have about 30 hp difference between the two.

Could be a number of things, but we'd have to see corresponding data logs to say for sure.

But I'm thinking more aggressive timing on the Perrin map causing lower timing overall because of knock pull. Or possibly overshooting the load target tables with too much WGDC and having the ECU drop the WGGC way down at the onset of full boost to compensate.

Ok I could only get second gear logs due to traffic. But I have one of each in the p3 and the c2. Now how do I post these?
