cobb_ will it work on other car

My evo was stolen, here is the thing will my cobb port work with another car. i am looking to sell it. will i have to do anything to it. i have cd and all parts. Is it lock to my car or can i reset it some way. thanks

Sorry to hear about the theft of your car. How did they get it? The key fob is needed to start the car I thought.
I believe it must be sent back to Cobb to be 'unmarried' from the car it was on. Then it can be sold. They will verify ownership before unlocking it though. Also, the thief has a car that he can't do anything with-as your Cobb is married to it's ECU.
